Well, this is something for a guy who requested this for X-mas. It's honestly the first drawing I've done in 4 years....

I have no scanner at the moment, so digital camera was all I could use for this.

I used mechanical pencil, fine-tip black ink pen, and crayola colored pencils.

This pad that I used is a special pad left to me by my Dad before he passed away 7 years ago. So I suppose you might say this is a bit of a special one-time drawing.

I might. I just felt like that was more of a chore than a pleasure. The motivation and inspiration I used to have to enjoy drawing just wasn't there. I miss that, actually. It was given like an assignment and treated as homework. >_>

If I draw, I want to actually enjoy it... But then again, I did get a little absorbed in the work.

I wonder how much I actually enjoy the ACT of drawing... I dont really recall ever experiencing that. I get really absorbed so I dont really think about anything else while I'm doing it. I think more or less the outcome is what I enjoy about it... maybe...

Well, I use to look forward to drawing. And I used to want to draw a lot. I just don't have that, and for some reason, it feels wrong to draw without that.... *tilts head* I dunno if that makes any sense or not....

lol Eh, I can point out quite a few mistakes. XD At my pique, I hardly made any mistakes. XD So I feel a little let down with myself.

You're obviously going to make mistakes after four years. I don't think anyone could avoid that. As far as I'm concerned, it looks great.

If you manage to get back into drawing, you'll return to your pique in no time, and probably be even better.

Oh, it looks very nice ! And the colors cam out great too. It must be quite difficult to draw bird. Good job ! :)
