Like a wild flower, thy beauty still glows
Shining like the sun is thy lovely hair
Thy soft touch is one thing my body knows
Thy sweet smile is like the bright solar flare

Despair could never compare to thy bliss
I breathe daily thy warm sweet tender breath
To feel thy tender lips with my sweet kiss
I will love thee even until thy death

Earth shan't diminish they spirited soul
I'll hold thee in a passionate embrace
When I too shall be covered by the knoll
My love for thee the Earth shall not erase

Oh, thy distance makes me yearn for thy face
To see thee soon would quicken my heart's pace

Author's Comments

This was a sonnet that I did back in my Freshman Year of high school during our Romeo & Juliet saga. We were to all create a sonnet and we had the choice of reading it out loud to the class. Took me three days, the inspiration of the one I loved, and a little bit of help from my foster mother to complete it with high marks. XD Highest in the class, especially after I worked up the courage to read it out loud to the class.

Soon afterward, I had actually managed to publish this piece at Poetry.com, which later, I found out was a scammy place. It's still up on the site, and I have one of the books it was published in, somewhere around the house, so yea. XD

LOL A command, huh? XD I haven't really been able to. The conditions I had when I made this one are not available to me. Basically, I need some sort of set paper, giving me the chance to make a proper outline. I can't think of anything if I don't have something for an outline. When I did this, I was given a piece of paper that asked me certain questions to create aspects for it. XD If that makes any sense at all.
